What is a cookie?
A cookie (or tracker) is a small file placed on your device (computer, tablet, smartphone) when you visit a website. It stores information about your browsing or recognises your device on subsequent visits.
Trackers used on this site
The dermadn.fr website uses two categories of trackers:
Strictly necessary (functional) cookies
These cookies are essential for the Site to function and cannot be disabled. In accordance with CNIL (French data protection authority) guidance, they do not require prior consent. This is the session cookie of the administration area, reserved for the DermADN team. The online booking module and the gift card purchase module, as of today, do not set any cookie: information entered is sent directly to the server upon submission, with no browser-side session mechanism.
Analytics cookies
The Site uses Google Tag Manager (Google Ireland Limited), a tag management tool that loads other measurement tools — notably Google Analytics — without needing to modify the Site's code each time. Google Tag Manager itself does not set any cookie, but the tools it loads (Google Analytics) set cookies used to measure Site traffic (number of visitors, pages viewed, traffic source). This data may be transferred to the United States, under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
In accordance with CNIL (French data protection authority) guidance, these tools are only loaded after obtaining your consent, via the banner described below; until you accept the "Audience measurement" category, no data is sent to Google.
Managing your consent
When non-essential cookies are used, a banner lets you accept or decline them, category by category, from your first visit. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via this link: .
You can also configure your browser to refuse cookies or to be warned before they are placed (procedure specific to each browser, available in its help menu).
Retention period
The functional cookie of the administration area expires when the session ends. Where applicable, cookies subject to consent have a maximum lifespan of 13 months, in accordance with CNIL guidance. Your choice (accepted or declined) is asked again after 6 months at the latest.
