Who this treatment is for

  • A dull complexion that lacks radiance.
  • Uneven skin texture and enlarged pores.
  • Fine surface lines.
  • Atrophic acne scars, meaning scars that sit in a hollow.
  • Skin you want to stimulate at depth, as the treatment acts on collagen production.

How a session unfolds

  1. Make-up removal, gentle facial cleansing, a lukewarm rinse and drying with a clean compress.
  2. Disinfection of the area with an antiseptic suited to the face.
  3. A sterile hyaluronic acid glide is applied, which hydrates and reduces friction during the pass.
  4. The micro-needling pen is passed once or twice, evenly, at a depth adapted to each area of the face: shallower on the forehead and around the eyes, deeper on the cheeks and on targeted scars.
  5. Optionally, fifteen to twenty minutes of red and infrared LED, for its soothing and repairing effect straight after the treatment.

Duration and sensations

The appointment lasts 45 minutes, including fifteen to thirty minutes of actual treatment for a full face. Pressure stays light to moderate. What we are looking for is light, even redness, not bleeding: if your skin reacts more than expected, we adjust speed and depth during the session.

How many sessions, and how often

Microneedling works as a course, and the rhythm depends on your goal: maintaining radiance does not require the same follow-up as working on acne scars. The interval between sessions also depends on how deep the pass goes: nano-needling, being more superficial, can be repeated sooner than a deeper pass. Online booking applies a minimum of three weeks between sessions; if your protocol allows a closer rhythm, we agree it together during the assessment.

Indicative protocol : 4 séances espacées de 3 semaines.

Immediately afterwards

  • Light redness and swelling are normal and usually settle within 24 to 48 hours.
  • On the day itself, avoid water and soap on the treated area, make-up and intense exercise.
  • Cleanse with a gentle antiseptic, then apply a regenerating cream rich in vitamins A and C.
  • Over the following days, moisturise generously and apply SPF 50 sun protection daily.
  • For 24 to 48 hours, avoid sun, sauna, steam room, swimming pool, scrubs, retinol and exfoliating acids.
  • Contact us if redness or swelling increases instead of easing, or in case of fever.
